This is a relaxed one-hour return journey that takes you out through rural plains, past vineyards and across the picturesque Waipaoa bridge. Suitable for all fitness levels, this is a fantastic option for those with a limited schedule who want a taste of the unique ‘Gisborne Railbike’ experience.

We absolutely LOVED the RailBike adventure….we are so glad we added this to our itinerary while visiting NZ! The scenery was just spectacular- tunnels, trees, ocean…The 3 hour ride was perfect for us!

Hubby and I are used to riding e-bikes so we chose the e-bike option on the Beach Loop. This took the whole morning and costs a little more but is well worth it.

We had a great time and Jeff was a great guide. The trip is just beautiful and made you really feel like you were "there." The weather was outstanding and the small group made it feel more special.
